The sea & the bathing area
Just 500 meters from the house is a lovely natural beach, here you can enjoy salty baths and the sound of the waves hitting the shore. To reach the sea, you first take the gravel road for a short distance before continuing along a charming path(steep path/stairs) that gradually turns into stairs. The terrain becomes steep, so if you have a pram with you or have difficulty walking, it may be easier to take the road to Slussen's public bathing area with jumping tower and piers, located about two kilometers from the house.

SLUSSEN
In Slussen, about two kilometers from the house, there is the small genuine and cozy music hotel. Some of Sweden's best artists play on stage, e.g. Linnea Henriksson, Daniel Lemma, Sabina Ddumba & Christian Kjellvander. David Lundqvist, Swedish master of professional cooking and Chef of the Year 2018, is based in the restaurant. In Slussen there is also a cute little café called Café Tillsammans where you can enjoy freshly baked waffles with ice cream before you walk on to the public swimming area.

Restaurants, Shops & Boat Rentals
One mile from the house is Orust's central town of HENÅN, where everything is offered, from a marina to cozy restaurants, a well-stocked ICA store and playful playgrounds. For those who yearn for adventure, bicycle rental is offered at the Kajutan cultural center and the possibility of SUP and boat excursions from Henån's Guest Harbor. Also treat yourself to a delicious ice cream from Lejonet & Björnen in the harbour's ice cream bar.

The parking lot is right outside the house. When you step in, you are greeted by a large and inviting entrance downstairs. There is a laundry room and a spacious bathroom with everything you need - from a relaxing shower to a well-deserved bath in the bathtub.

On the middle floor, a bright and welcoming living room opens up, which merges with the modern equipped kitchen in an open plan. From the kitchen area, a door leads out to a wonderful balcony, with a comfortable outdoor sofa where you can enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings.

Step out through the patio doors from the living room and discover your own private oasis - a wonderful patio where you can enjoy under the protective sun canopy. Comfortable lounge furniture awaits you here, inviting you to relax after a day filled with sun and sea.

On the middle floor you will also find a generous bedroom with a luxurious double bed and a separate toilet with shower and sink for extra convenience.

Upstairs, three charming bedrooms await, two of which each have a day bed that easily turns into a spacious 160 cm bed. The third bedroom is perfect for an adult or two children, here there is a 120 cm bed and the last is a passage room that offers a comfortable 90 cm bed.

Things to do in Orust
If you like to hike, there is the pilgrim trail where you hike across meadows and through forest between Orust's churches. Fishing for crabs is fun for both young and old children and requires only a bucket and a line. Try camel riding at Myckleby Nedergård, rent a boat and discover your own bathing cliffs and bays. Learn about the life of bees at Tavlebord honey farm and buy locally produced. At farms and shops around you can buy locally produced and locally grown as well as fresh fish and freshly cooked shellfish. Don't miss our car-free islands, Gullholmen and Käringön and the fantastic fishing community Hälleviksstrand .

Cafe /Food/garden and paddling course in Ellös: buy the chair you sit on or the cup you drink from, everything can be bought at the lovely cafe, Miss Trulls , Here next door you can book a paddle course if you so wish.

Take a trip to Tjörn - In addition to all the islands, beaches and cliffs, there is plenty to experience on Tjörn as well. There are many genuine and cozy archipelago communities here.

In Skärhamn you have several restaurants to choose from; everything from Tapas to the luxury food of the archipelago. The Nordic Watercolor Museum is located in Skärhamn and is worth at least one visit. In Rönnäng you have, among other things, Skärgårn Bar & Restaurant with west coast stucco . Pilane Skulptur & burial ground is closer to Kyrkesund, where you can walk in a sheepfold and look at fantastic outdoor art or just have a coffee. At Sundsby Säteri you can walk, eat well and shop locally produced & crafts.
For those who like golf , Tjörns Golfklubb has a good golf course with a nice restaurant.
