Lovely cottage in the beautiful Kroppefjäll

UK: This lovely new dalslandscottage at the Lapperud farm was build and finished in 2013 and rents out to naturelovers from Easter untill the end of October.
NL: Dit heerlijke, nieuwe dalslandshuisje op boerderij Lapperud is in 2013 afgebouwd en wordt vanaf Pasen tot en met de herfstvakantie verhuurd aan natuurliefhebbers.

UK: The cottage has a pleasant, large kitchen with ceramic stove with oven, a combined fridge and freezer and a fireplace with cooking plate. Besides that, there is a smaller livingroom with TV, a onepersons bedroom and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washingmachine on the first floor.
NL: Het huisje heeft een prettige, grote keuken met een keramisch fornuis met oven, een koel/vriescombinatie en een houtkacheltje met een kookplaat erop. Daarnaast zijn er nog een kleinere woonkamer met TV, een eenpersoons slaapkamer en een badkamer met douche, toilet en wasmachine op de begane grond.

UK: At the top of the stairs you will find a pleasant sitting area with two daybeds and a lovely large bedroom with a double bed and a view that even shows a glimpse of lake Kabbosjön. A bed för small children is available.
NL: Bovenaan de trap is een ruime overloop met een prettig zitgedeelte met twee bedbanken. Bovendien ligt er een prachtige, ruime tweepersoons slaapkamer met een uitzicht dat zelfs op een glimp van het meer Kabbosjön. Een kinderbedje is beschikbaar.

UK: The cottage is in the wonderful nature reserve Kroppefjäll (accessible for hikes and long walks), among meadows and woods, and only 500 meters away from the gorgeous Kabbosjön. Here you can use the rowing boat or go swimming, both on this side of the lake and on Dalskogs side of the lake, where the village community has developed a lovely bathing area with beach, a little pier, moorings, a grillhouse and toilets.
NL: Het huisje ligt in het prachtige natuurreservaat Kroppefjäll (vrij toegankelijk voor hiking en lange wandelingen), tussen weilanden en de bossen en op slechts 500 meter van het mooie meer Kabbosjön. Hier kan men de roeiboot gebruiken of baden, zowel aan deze kant van het meer als ook aan Dalskogs zijde van het meer, waar de dorpsvereniging een heerlijke badplaats heeft ontwikkeld met strand, een steiger, bootplaatsen, een grillhuisje en toiletten.

Directions:
UK: At Mellerud´s northern roundabout at the E45 you turn onto the 166 towards Bäckefors. After 12 km, at the Dalskog crossroads, you turn left and cross the railways. When you come to the church, you turn right into the direction of Forsebol and you continue this road into the forest for about 3 km (from the church). Directly after you passed the bridge between lake Teåkersjön on your right and lake Kabbosjön on your left, you turn left at the crossroads, here as well in the direction of Forsebol and here as well you follow this road for about 3 km (from the crossroads). Then you drive up for a rather long hill and come to an old milking table with 6 mailboxes at the left side of the road. There are three different small dirtroads i different directions, but you take the dirtroad to the left before the milking table. At the end of this road you will see Lapperuds Red Cottage across the meadow. Just follow the little dirtroad to the left that follows the edge of the forrest and you will come to the cottage. /
NL: Bij Mellerud´s noordelijke rotonde aan de E45 draait u de 166 richting Bäckefors op. Na ongeveer 12 kilometer, op het kruispunt in Dalskog, slaat u linksaf en rijdt over het spoor. Wanneer u bij de kerk aankomt, slaat u rechtsaf richting Forsebol en volgt de weg 3 km (vanaf de kerk) het bos in. Direct na het bruggetje tussen het meer Teåkersjön aan uw rechterhand en meer Kabbosjön aan uw linkerhand slaat u linksaf, wederom richting Forsebol. Ook nu volgt u de weg ongeveer 3 km en dan komt u bovenaan een lange rechte helling, waar links aan de weg een oude bruine melktafel staat met 6 groene brievenbussen. Direct voor de melktafel slaat u een grintweggetje in naar links. Aan het eind van deze weg ziet u het huisje aan de andere kant van de weide. Volg het kleine weggetje dat linksaf langs de rand van het bos loopt en dan komt u vanzelf bij Lapperuds Rode Huisje.
