Large Lake plot, private jetty, and view.

In an attempt to convey the feeling I feel for Rönnäs and the entire area around Lake Sommen, I wrote these lines.
Must be experienced to understand.

Here is the opportunity as I rent out a lovely cottage on a large lake plot including a private jetty.

Four bedrooms with a total of 8+2 berths. Bedroom 1: Double bed 180cm.
Bedroom 2: Single bed 90cm with a bed box underneath (80cm) as a spare bed.
Bedroom 3: Entrance from outside. A 120cm wide bed.
Bedroom 4: Entrance from outside. A family bunk bed. 120cm bottom bunk and 90cm upper bunk.
There is also a spare mattress in the cottage.
A travel cot is available for a small child.

Living room with 4 comfortable sofas together with a fireplace with a cassette. Free firewood! Here is also a TV.

Spacious dining room with a wood burner and seating for 8 persons. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning unbroken views of the lake.
From the room there are doors to two lovely patios.

Small working kitchen with all you need. Dishwasher and micro available.

Fresh bathroom with shower and WC.
Basement with washing machine.


The plot is very large with a lot of space for games, football and other things.
Jetty to swim from, but possibilities to bathe from the beach.
Lake Sommen is a nice and deep lake with clean water.
There are also two public swimming spots nearby

We have an additional cottage to rent if you are two families on holiday together. It is only a few metres diagonally above this cottage. It is the yellow cottage in the pictures. Advertisement: #34315

Distance from Rönnäs to:
Asby Lanthandel: 15 minutes by car
Coop Österbymo: 23 minutes by car
Ydregården: 22 minutes by car. Good food and miniature golf
Restaurant Torpön: 37 minutes by car. Good food and nice ice cream.
Tranås Golf club: 38 minutes by car. Very nice food at the restaurant.

There are many nice sights and viewpoints nearby, such as:
Torpön ferry station with a nature room and a high-altitude course.
Ångbåten Boxholm II (steamboat)
Ydregården
Ydre motor museum
Emigrantmuseum in Asby

During winter you can go skiing in Asby backe.

Circa 1 hour by car to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren´s World.

Rönnäs is a calming place to be. People come here to get energy, socialize, and enjoy the surroundings.

P.S do you need spare beds? We have a lovely little guest house on the plot with two single beds. You are welcome to rent this for a fee of SEK 250/night.

Rental rules

For rent to adults over 25 and families with children.
Adult dogs are fine to bring. The requirement is that they don´t bite and/or pee inside.
No smoking in the cottage. You can smoke outside if you pick up all the butts.

Cleaning of the cottage before your departure is available to buy for a fee of SEK 1,500. Otherwise, you clean and leave the cottage as it was when you rented it.

I would like to have personal contact with the person responsible for renting the cottage. Then we can agree on what time we can meet for check-in.

N.B! We take SEK 1,000 as a deposit. If everything is in order after your stay, you will get the deposit back.
