Welcome to Ängeviken, a summer cottage area on western Tjörn with lots of nice cottages. Here you never have to feel alone! Here there is life and movement all summer, happy children and parents who longed all winter for lazy summer days. Västra Tjörn and Björholmen are characterized by bare cliffs without trees, here you can climb the cliffs and experience fantastic views. On the wonderful beach at Ängeviken you can enjoy sun-warmed rocks and salty baths.

SWIMMING PLACE
Ängeviken's bathing area consists of a sandy beach, a lawn and a jetty along the cliffs. In the harbor in Ängeviken there is both an ice cream café and a small mini life.

TWO NICE OLD FISHING VILLAGES
Cozy Björholmen's Marina is only two kilometers from the cottage, where you can eat good food right next to the sea and it is possible to rent pedal boats, kayaks and bicycles. Here you can also book a nice and cozy wood-burning sauna, which is beautifully located on the jetty. Just south of Ängeviken is charming Kyrkesund with its beautiful old wooden houses and picturesque fishing huts. You can see the community from Ängeviken but it is 7 km on the way. From Kyrkesund you can take the ferry over to Härön, where you will find beautiful hiking trails and good food at Magasinet. During the Tjörn runt sailing competition, it is full of people enjoying all the sailboats that pass through the narrow passage.

THE COTTAGE
The house is divided into a main building and a guest house, these are linked with a large lovely terrace. In the house there are 2 bedrooms, one has a double bed of 180 cm, the other a bunk bed. In the living room there is a sofa bed, TV and a fireplace that you can light if an evening feels a bit chilly. There is also a fully equipped kitchen. In the built-in glass veranda, there are inviting armchairs in different colors. Here you can settle down, play games or just enjoy reading a good book in peace and quiet. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower.

THE GUEST HOUSE
In the first room there is a washing machine and a folding bed. At the back of the cabin are two small rooms, each with a single bed.

THE GARDEN
The generous balcony connects the cottages. Here you will find both a dining table and a lounge group which is wonderful to relax in after a day at the sea. The lawn and parking are shared with another cabin, but the terrace is only for you who rent the cabin.

Pilane Sculpture , 4.5 km from the house in the middle of a Bohuslän cultural landscape with grazing, a sculpture exhibition with world-class art can be arranged every summer. This is an exciting and different art experience for both young and old.

In Kållekärr, 1 mile away, you will find a pizzeria, Ica shop, hairdresser, kiosk and the "Korggubben-Shop" (furnishings & gifts, etc.)

Things to do on Tjörn, here there are many genuine archipelago communities. In Skärhamn there are several archipelago restaurants as well as small shops with handicrafts. Here you will also find Klädesholmen's Fish & Seafood with daily catch.

More car-free islands - from Rönnäng the ferry goes to the car-free islands Tjörnekalv, Åstol and Dyrön. Exploring these picturesque little island worlds is something you absolutely cannot miss.

The Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn has experiences for both young and old. A creative cultural center with watercolor art from all over the world at the same time that Pilane offers world-class art in the middle of a Bohuslan cultural landscape among graveyards and grazing sheep. Säby Kile's nature reserve is a wonderful trip, many bird species thrive here that benefit from the rich aquatic life. At Sundsby Säteri you can enjoy something good in the cafe and restaurant. Take a trip to Orust, the Pilgrimsleden on Orust is eight miles long and connects eight churches and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island. Tabletop honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how the bees live and make honey. You can also buy good coffee and honey caramels here. Right next door is & Tavlebords country store, a market hall where local producers sell their food and handicrafts. A day trip to car-free Gullholmen or Käringön is a must, the ferries depart from Tuvesvik.
