The property consists of a large timber framed building and two small cabins. The houses sit on the shore of a fairly large lake, Lake Grecken. It is secluded with no neighbors on any side of the property, and the lake is at a stones throw away for a morning swim. Tenants will have access to a rowing boat and a canoe.

On the bottom floor is the newly renovated kitchen with an electric stove, a fridge and a freezer, a microwave owen and a dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a large living room/dining room with panorama windows overlooking the lake. On the bottom floor is a bathroom with a shower and sink, and a separate room with a toilet and sink.
On the second floor there is a large hall and 4 bedrooms. For additional bedrooms there are two beds in each of the two cottages. All in all there is a total of 11 beds.

Other buildings on the property are a barn, a boathouse, a dirt cellar and an old outhouse.

What is there to discover in the surrounding areas?

There are plenty of opportunities to explore history and nature of the area. The town of Nora is one of three towns in Sweden that was spared by the bulldozers and therefore kept its original wooden buildings. This small town next to the Nora Lake has been called The Pearl of Bergslagen due to its charming location and its old wooden houses. Explore small boutiques, cafes and not to forget, its specialty, Nora ice cream. Many artists have settled in Nora and display their art in galleries around town and in the old brewery, "Bryggeriet".
During summer rides on historic trains ("veterantåg") are offered. There are hiking trails and biking roads in the area. A boat trip to the island in Nora Lake for a game of mini golf or for taking a swim is a popular summer outing for the whole family.
A preserved mining village right outside of Nora offers a unique historical experience. Among other relics from a prosperous mining era is one of Europe´s largest water wheels.

The last weekend of August Nora hosts its well known fair and market, where people from all over Sweden show and sell their goods and artifacts, and Nora is turned into a lively and colorful scene for the whole family.
