Risberget Saltsjö-Boo. Idyll with sea glimpse

Idyllic summer house in a peaceful, scenic environment near the sea and at the same time close to Stockholm (16 km). From the house and the patio you get a glimpse of the sea, a stone's throw from the house is a nice place with magical view of the sea and the fairway towards Stockholm. Access to jetty with benches and bathing ladder about 100 m from the house.

The cottage from the earlier part of the last century is located high and is after expansion and complete renovation in the 2000s updated with year-round standard and all modern amenities. The country feel is preserved and the interior is beautifully stylish with a rustic touch. Large windows in all rooms provide wonderful light, beautiful views and a glimpse of the sea.

Not so long ago, Vikingshill was an idyllic area with narrow winding roads and older holiday homes. Today, many people live all year round, but the large beautiful plots, large green areas and the winding roads are preserved. Quiet and secluded but at the same time so close to the major city attractions and all the beautiful places in the archipelago.

Directly outside the plot, a path leads to a nice place with an unobstructed view of the fairway over Stockholm's inlet. Here are benches so perfect to bring your coffee mug or a glass of drink to enjoy the sunset over the water!

Another path below the house leads down to the sea where you will find a beach promenade, jetty with benches and bathing ladder, a small natural beach and Riset's steamboat jetty which is served by Waxholmsbolaget's boats to and from Stockholm, Vaxholm and Grinda. Perfect for transport and archipelago excursions!
The beach promenade continues to Grävlingsberg and has a beautiful barbecue area on the next view point (about 300 m).
Within a few minutes walk there is the area's tennis court and playground.
There is also a small lake with bathing jetty within walking distance of the house. It is shallow and heats up quickly in sunny weather.
A nice sandy beach is located by Sågsjön about 2.5 km.

Hasseludden Yasuragi and Skepparholmen SPA are also close to cycling distance (approx. 4 km), both well worth a visit for those who want to give themselves something extra both when it comes to swimming in luxurious environments and good food. In Gustavsberg Harbor (about 6 km) you will find Värmdö's cultural center, here is an art gallery, the historic Gustavsberg porcelain factory with production, museums and factory sales as well as shops, among other things. Outlets by IIttala, Orrefors Kosta Boda and Villeroy & Boch. In the harbor area there are also many nice cafes, restaurants and shops. A few km from the port is the remarkable Artipelag Art Museum. Great bike paths to all these places!

On Värmdö there are lots of nice excursion destinations and it is easy to get to the "Archipelago Capital" picturesque Vaxholm or to Stockholm.

Distance to grocery store and shopping center about 6-7 km, bus connection is available.
